Our Partnership With BIMM
In 2015 we formed a successful partnership with BIMM (The British and Irish Modern Music Institute), the largest and leading provider of contemporary music education in the UK and Europe. Former BIMM students include James Bay, George Ezra, Tom Odell and The Kooks.
Alive Network provides BIMM students and alumni with paid commercial performance work and industry engagement experience. Students form bands who are then auditioned, supported and mentored by Alive Network, with a view to becoming commercially successful function bands & wedding bands.
Successful student bands each receive approx. £7,000 worth of production, promotional materials & support from Alive Network to kick-start their careers. The partnership is helping BIMM to achieve excellent post education employment rates, as well as helping many students fund their way through their studies, a highly valued prize at a time when average post-education student debt is in the region of £40,000!!
At the time of writing, our partnership with BIMM Brighton & London have become one of the most successful industry engagement programs in BIMM’s history.
